Clear terms for a respectful club.

Eligibility and accounts

Members must be at least 18 years old, join as a woman, provide accurate account information, and keep sign-in credentials secure. One person may not create multiple accounts to obtain additional free events.

Members are responsible for activity under their account and should report suspected unauthorised access promptly. Accounts are personal and may not be sold, shared, or transferred.

Free event and recurring membership

One attended event is free per eligible member and requires no payment method. A cancelled booking or a booking the member did not attend does not count as the attended free event unless abuse or repeated seat blocking is identified.

Paid plans are offered for one, three, or six months. The checkout page displays the exact charge, effective monthly price, billing period, taxes where applicable, and renewal terms before purchase. Each plan renews for the selected period until renewal is cancelled.

Payments, cancellation, and refunds

Stripe processes payments and stores payment credentials. A member can cancel renewal in the billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period and does not remove access already paid for.

Except where applicable law requires otherwise or the final published refund policy expressly provides a refund, cancelling does not automatically refund a partially used billing period. Failed or overdue payments may pause new bookings while billing is corrected. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer cancellation, withdrawal, or refund rights.

Events and video rooms

Event dates, hosts, topics, capacity, and availability may change. Joining links are private and may be shown only shortly before the scheduled start. Members must not share a private link with another person.

If Ladies Speak English cancels or materially reschedules an event, affected bookings will be released and members will receive reasonable notice through the service. Where a paid service cannot be reasonably replaced, an appropriate remedy will be provided in accordance with the final refund policy and applicable law.

Conduct and community safety

Members must follow the Community Rules. Harassment, discrimination, sexual content, threats, unauthorised recording, privacy violations, unsolicited selling, disruption, and repeated unwanted contact are prohibited.

The operator may investigate reports and restrict, suspend, or terminate an account when reasonably necessary for safety, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or material breach. Where appropriate, the member will be told the reason and may contact support to request review.

Service availability and responsibility

Reasonable care will be used to provide the platform and scheduled events, but uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed because the service depends on internet connections and third-party providers. Planned or emergency maintenance may temporarily limit access.

Ladies Speak English supports conversation practice and community; it does not guarantee a particular examination result, job outcome, fluency level, or personal connection. Liability is not excluded where exclusion is prohibited by applicable law.

Changes and ending the service

Material changes to prices or renewal terms apply only after reasonable advance notice and, where required, renewed consent. Updated legal terms will show a new revision date.

A member may delete an account after cancelling any active paid membership. Provisions concerning payments, privacy, disputes, intellectual property, and liability may continue where their nature requires it.
